Hyderabad has a good number of international and IB-curriculum schools, concentrated mostly around the same western neighborhoods where expats tend to live. Start the admissions process earlier than feels necessary — good schools and popular grade levels fill up well ahead of the academic year.
Ask about waitlist movement, not just open seats — places often open up close to term start as other families relocate.

Nannies
Full-time or part-time childcare help is common and generally affordable relative to many expats' home countries. Referrals from other expat families are the most reliable way to find someone, and a proper reference check is worth the extra step even when a candidate comes recommended.
Agree on scope, hours, and pay in writing from day one, even if it feels overly formal — it's the single biggest source of later misunderstandings.

Most gated communities have their own small play areas, but there are also larger public and semi-public options worth knowing about for a change of scenery — parks, indoor play centers, and community playgroups that meet on a regular schedule.
Indoor play centers are a lifesaver during the hottest and wettest months — worth having two or three on your list before you need them.
